As a conscious consumer most people look for products that are good for them and for the environment. Like organic products, fair-trade coffee and energy efficient light bulbs. But why should purchasing decisions stop with the consumer, what about business related purchases?
KAT Communications actively encourage its clients to look at ways to reduce their carbon footprint through effective use of communications. KAT Communications also offer environmentally friendly products such as solar powered phone chargers and can provide refurbished handsets so as to keep mobile phones out of landfill sites. We are also committed to phone recycling and along with every handset we include a prepaid envelope to make it easy for our customers to send back their old phones so we can recycle.
As well as supplying a range of environmentally friendly telecoms products and providing advice to our clients on how they can use telecoms effectively as part of their own environmental policies KAT will donate one tree for each new mobile voice sale and 2 trees for every new landline agreement that moves over to ourselves to The Woodland Trust to help with carbon reduction and carbon management programs.
Latest News: For a limited period of time KAT Communications will also donate 1% of its customers landline spend for the first 12 months of the agreement to The Woodland Trust.
